Eligible Participants:
- Dog owners with reactive dogs: Our program is specifically designed for dogs displaying reactive behavior, such as excessive barking, lunging, or aggression towards other dogs or stimuli.
- Committed individuals: We welcome participants who are dedicated and committed to putting in the necessary time, effort, and consistency required for their dog’s training journey.
- Willingness to learn: The program is ideal for individuals who have an open mind and are eager to learn new techniques and approaches to effectively manage their dog’s reactivity.
- Age requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old with dogs who are 11 months or older to join the program.
Non-Eligible Participants:
- Puppies: Our program is not suitable for young puppies as their training needs differ from reactive dogs. We recommend basic obedience classes for puppies.
- Unwillingness to invest time and effort: The S.T.R.I.D.E. program requires active participation, consistency, and practice outside of class time. If you are unable or unwilling to commit to the necessary time and effort, the program may not be suitable for you.
